MY ANXIETY

The piece interrogates the mental state of a man who has been avoiding the hot seat. The hot seat could be issues he is facing from a professional, domestic & mental front. Hanging on by a thread of what ever is left of his mental health ,the character seems to be floating on auto pilot rather than being in control of his life. The distress and weight that piles up from this unknown adventure of torture and turmoil, breaks him to a point of no return into the depth of anxiety and depression.

MEDUSA

The ancient enchantress, the mystic being, known to turn man into stone. The creature of darkness, or so it was told. This is the artist's rendition of Medusa, this time, with a twist. Medusa carries a snake that only comes out when conjured by singing. Like a genie the snake resides in cauldron pots. Once put on firewood the creature begins to whisper in hisses travelling through silent smoke that chokes it's victim. Medusa begins to sing an eerie song that awakens this beast to come and feast.
